Postmortem

This project is still in progress.

My Windows workstation kept having GPU driver crashes. I was tired of guessing what happened, so I started working on a tool to collect the surrounding evidence.

Postmortem brings together event logs, hardware telemetry, and recent system changes. A diagnostic loop forms hypotheses, runs safe checks, and ranks likely causes. An incident timeline helps make the sequence readable.

No magic fix button

Service restarts and configuration rollbacks need approval, and the tool checks whether the machine actually recovered afterward. It is meant to help on a bad day, when a confident guess is the last thing I need.
